Writing Conference: Tuesday Night

Dear Diary,

I met two editors who were the cat's meow today. Very non-intimidating. They both eased my trepidation towards editors in a big way. And, I can send one a partial, and the other my complete manuscript! So very beyond cool.

My workshop group read my prologue and first chapter today, and they loved it! Wahoo! Totally made my day. I knew very well that there was a problem with my first chapter, I just couldn't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. The incomparable author-mentor Claudia Mills told me just what I should do. She's a genius! I'm beyond grateful and will definitely have to hug her.

Today was a good day.
